Max Curfman opened Curfman's Cyclery and Fitness in 1962. Today, the shop is owned and managed by Max's son, Rich. Rich describes his product lines as "family-oriented, with a lean towards road riding." A glance across the shop floor reveals everything from tandems, cruisers and hi-brids to performance mountain and road bikes. The primary brands in the shop are Trek, Raleigh and DBR (Diamondback).
