A casual ride for all cyclists

Time: Start your ride between 8:30 and 10:30. Registration and refreshments open at 8:30 a.m.
Location: Indiana Wesleyan University, by the athletic fields. Corner of S Nebraska Sreet and 45th Street, Marion, IN 46953
Parking: Parking will be available by the athletic fields, or in the PAC lot.

Price: $20 for ride and T-shirt (must be registered by Sept. 23rd to be garuanteed a shirt). Lunch is extra: $3 IWU Alumni; $5.50 non-alumni; Kids 12 and under free.
Description: The IWU Homecoming Bicycle Tour will showcase Marion and the Greenway Bicycle Path project and a new route this year through Greentown. The rides are about 23 and 41 miles, respectively. Not a race! You must register to participate. Any style of bicycle may be used. Helmets must be worn. See you there!

Shorter Route Details (Greenway Route)
- Start out on 45th St heading west
- Turn south onto Harmon St
- Turn west onto 50th St
- Take 50th St past IWU APS building
- 50th St becomes 300 S Total Dist: 3 miles
- Turn north onto 200 W
- Turn east onto Kem Rd
- Turn south onto Miller Ave
- Turn east onto the Greenway Bicycle Path Total Dist: 9.8 miles
- Refreshments available at Greenway entrance
- Follow Greenway to Jonesboro parking area (cross Hwy 35)
- Refreshments available at parking area
- Please report name to volunteers at parking area
- Turn south onto Water St Total Dist: 17 miles
- Turn west onto 6th St
- Turn north onto Main St
- Turn west onto 2nd St Total Dist: 18 miles
- Turn north onto 4th St
- 4th St bends west and crosses Hwy 35
- 4th St T’s into Pennsylvania St
- Turn north onto Pennsylvania St
- Turn west onto Old Kokomo Rd
- Turn north onto Meridian St
- Turn west onto 50th St
- Turn north onto Harmon St
- Turn east onto 45th St
- Head back to the Athletic Fields Total Dist: 23 miles
Longer Route Details (Greentown):
- Start out on 45th St heading west
- Turn left onto Harmon St
- Turn right onto 50th St (50th St. becomes 300 S)
- Continue on 300 S. into Swayzee. A couple miles after this, 300 S. becomes 200 N (now in different county)
- Turn left on 850 E.
- 850 E. curves into 100 S
- Turn right onto 900 E.
- Turn left onto 200 S.
- Turn left onto 1000 E.
- 1000 E. curves into 180 S.
- At the fork in the road, take the left into a small housing development
- Turn right on 164 S,
- Turn left onto 1038 E.
- Turn right onto 100 S. (100 S. becomes 600 S. when returning to Grant Co.)
- Turn left onto 600 W.
- Turn right onto 200 S.
- Turn right onto Miller Rd.
- Turn left onto 300 S.
- Turn left onto Harmon St.
- Turn right onto 45th Street
- Turn right back into the IWU Athletic Complex
